We had some good recruiting news as Cortez Eatman of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College,

a 6-395 pound defensive back that can play corner.

A big, massive, lengthy corner matches up well with these SEC X receivers, has committed to Mississippi State.

A product of Jasper High School, Alabama, signed on with William Penn of the NAA to play both football and basketball.

And then had some people around them and said, you know what, listen, you might want to consider going to junior college and kind of rebooting this thing because you are a division one football

player. Jasper High School not very successful in either sport during his time there, but he was a

standout for both teams. He elects to transfer to Independence Community College in Kansas

at the Jayhawk conference and then has some injuries, ends up red-shorting last year,

He elected to leave Kansas and transfer to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College to be closer to family.
