Filoni, and John Favreau, as well as the rest of the team at Lucasfilm, have dreamed up over

the past 40 years. I'm Entertainment writer Jim Hill, and my co-host Brian Gone and I are

recording this week's show on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Just three days out from the theatrical

release of Indiana Jones on the dial of Disney. Brian, you are going Thursday afternoon, right?

Thursday afternoon. It's so funny, remember when they would do a preview show and it was usually

at midnight? Yeah, or the Saturday before. Right, that was the great, that was a sneak preview.

Those were fun. Yeah, they were. Because you saw two movies. But then they started doing the

midnight shows and I would go to a couple of those, but I couldn't get my family to go. But now

they started 3 p.m. out here. So we got tickets for all four of us in the reclining Dolby Sound

theater, so I'm looking forward. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Very cool. Very cool. Big films like this. I

spend the money. I break open the piggy bank and I have to see it that way. I completely

understand it. I mean, face it, it's been eight years now. Since this project was first announced

back in May of 2015, that's when Kathleen Kennedy revealed that there was a fifth Indiana Jones

film on the works. Though George Lucas right after Kingdom of the Crystal Skull came out in May

of 2008 began noodling on an idea for a fifth indie film. And George reportedly shared this idea

with Harrison Ford in the fall of that same year. So while Harrison Ford was out doing promotion

for the Blu-ray DVD version of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, that that hit store shelves back

on October 14th, 2008. Ford was quoted as saying George's idea for a fifth indie film was crazy,

but great, which leaves me. Wow. Any of that end up in Dial of Destiny? Well, if it was right

away, it would have been like a sequel, right? So you might have had mud in it. You might have had
