In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single

day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your understanding of God's Word,

and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life. We are going to be doing,

We are the Church series. About once a week, I'm going to have a guest on. We're aiming for Thursdays.

We just can't always make it work that way. When we look at the big umbrella of what is the church, you know, the gates of hell

will not prevail because the church is still alive and well. That's a line from a wonderful worship

song, and it's true. But there are issues to address. There are hearts that need to be healed. There

are course corrections that need to happen.

And there are great, great things happening in the church. So over the next weeks, we're going to

have different guests on to talk about just different aspects of the fact that we are the church.

So if you sit on the outside and you critique and you criticize and you're a Christian, you're out of

line because we are the church.

So we need to be part of the solution. And normally I have my own way of opening the show with

my own words, but I got to say, I couldn't say it better than my guest. And so I'm going to

just read what she writes. She says this, the last 10 years have brought the largest

deconstruction movement in the evangelical church has seen in our lifetime.

Movements and marketing campaigns, coaxing people back into the pews, are no longer working.

The man-made strategies and plans to get believers and non-believers through their doors aren't as

effective as in decades past. If hot coffee, donuts, and famous bands headlining Sunday morning
