Good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study. We're so glad that you're joining with us.

Tonight we are in Isaiah and we're going to Lord will you make it through chapter 45.

But for those of you online, you might want to at this time get the elements because at the

conclusion of our Bible study we're going to partake together of communion together.

Also, while you're doing that, just by way of a reminder, I want to let you know that.

I'm taking two weeks off. I'm not going anywhere except to the throne, actually, to petition

the throne and seek the Lord. So looking forward to having

my assistant pastor, Pastor Mack, fill in and teach in my place. And he will be here

for the next two weeks this upcoming Sunday, and then the following Thursday, and then the following Thursday and then the following Sunday and

the following Thursday and then Lord willing I'll be back on Sunday October 24th.

I really mean this when I say this and ask this but I really covet your prayers

specifically for clarity as I seek the Lord concerning everything that's going on today.

It is so, I don't know how to say it.

I mean it's just there are so many unknowns, there's so much we don't know, and when we don't know, we know that

we can go to the one who does know. And that's exactly what I'm going to be doing. I'm going

to be spending a lot of time in prayer, a lot of time in the Word, a lot of time seeking the

Lord, spending time with the Lord that I would not otherwise have, were I in the word, a lot of time seeking the Lord, spending time with the Lord that I would not otherwise

have were I in the pulpit. So I'm not going anywhere. I'll still be on island. I'll be here.

But I just need to get alone with Jesus. And I need to talk with him and I need to hear from him concerning everything that is happening.

There's just so many things that are happening.

So I'm really humbly asking you to pray for me.

And just as the Lord brings you, you know, brings me to your mind as often as he does,
