Hi Sorab. Hi John. So Sorab, tell the people who you are, where you come from and why you're here.

Well, I'm a writer. I was born and raised in Iran, moved to the US when I was 13.

Most recently I was a columnist and editorial writer for the Wall Street Journal editorial pages in London.

Did that up for about four years and now I'm joining commentary.

How it has become a woke organization peddling left liberal orthodoxies rather than a functional organization attempting to improve American education through the deregulatory prospect of using teachers who do not necessarily have to go through the entire ridiculous educational systems accreditation process.

Correct. Okay. So guys, I wanted to talk today a little off the news about two remarkable articles published in the last 48 hours or so.

One in Politico by the longtime Democratic activist, political consultant, political worker, Donna Brazil and the other by Robert Draper in the New York Times magazine.

Both of which I think are fascinating reflections on the parless condition of the Democratic Party, both at the end of and in the aftermath of the age of Obama.

And the Brazil piece is a first person account of what happened when she took over the Democratic National Committee in the wake of the resignation of

then DNC Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz following the release of DNC emails by Russian hackers detailing the extent to which she had
