And you're evidently in England currently, but you don't have an accent.

Are you from the States?

No.

I'm originally from Southern California and from Orange County specifically.

Gosh, it's hard to believe about 40 years ago.

I went overseas and I sort of never came back.

So, yes, I do have the American accent, but I've lived overseas for the last four decades

and have been living in Oxford, England, for the last 20 years. Gosh, it's hard to believe.

Well, I'm excited to talk today about what I think has become a buzzword in the health and wellness space, longevity.

I know that you're a TEDx speaker on the topic. You're working on the Oxford Longevity Project.

You yourself, you know, have also dove into this from a personal research perspective as a Harvard MBA and a BA from Berkeley, which makes sense, California now.

So I'm wondering if maybe you could just give us an overview of what led you to have devoted so much time in your career to this idea of longevity and even how do you define it?

What led me to it was the autoimmune conditions that I was diagnosed with over 20 years ago. So at age 39,

I was in the middle of my fifth round of IVF using donor eggs, no less. So any listeners who

ever done IVF, who've gone down the donor egg root, you know it is, you know, you've exhausted

everything else.
