Alright, happy Friday everybody. This is going to be a long run episode of me and my very, very, very, very old friend,

Shan Rig. Shan's the best. He's the one of the first crazy guys I ever met in this sport. He's run, you know, from Chicago to Indiana.

He's run, I crude him once, running across Illinois, all the way from the bottom, Donna Biduka, Kentucky, all the way to the top.

He's like 410 miles. It was really early in my, in my ultra running life. And he's been at all the races that I go to.

And, you know, when I was, when I was a young runner and he's just, he's a really, really good guy. He's a really interesting guy.

He ran across America last year and this year he's doing something really, really interesting and different.

And you're going to hear about it on this episode. So tune in. Listen to me and my old friend, Shan, it's a very, very good time.

I wanted to just ping a few things on the community court board here. I have this Saturday is the Sugar Badger preview run.

If you're local, Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, anywhere in the, in the Chicago land area near the Badger Trail, we're going to run from Broadhead to Belleville.

We're going to drop cars in Belleville. We're going to run one way all 25 miles of the Sugar Badger 50, 50 course. So if you're looking to, I'm going to drive my truck with some water and supplies and drop it.

You're going to be fully supported. It's not going to be a foot race. It's just, let's go to see the trail.

May 21, we are going to have a Sugar Badger preview podcast at the Arterics Chicago in Bucktown.

It's going to be a run and then a show afterwards. We're going to have some pre-giveaways and things like that.

And I'm also going to let you pick up your dropbacks if you live in the area and you want to get your dropback before race day.

You can pick up on May 21 at the Arterics in Bucktown and hang out with the crew. It's going to start at 10 o'clock and we're going to have a good time.

Short, short fun run, short little podcast. We'll probably have some beers, you know.
