My driver this morning asked me if I was watching the football.

So I said, no. It's on too late for me. And I was watching a very interesting discussion.

I don't know what the programme's called, but it was all black presenters. It was the most stimulating discussion I'd heard in ages. And they were talking about all sorts of things, but mainly they were talking about David Beckham, trousering,

the 10 and a half million when you consider that it was only a few years ago he was on the front

of Attitude magazine saying, oh, this is something I feel passionate about. Basically, he's a bloody liar. It's as simple as that. He's lied

through his teeth to trowels of the money and he's gone. They had a gay, in fact, they had a

couple of gay guys on there and a gay girl. And everybody agreed, except one woman who's gay, what do you mean he's a gay icon? He's not gay. She was that stupid. She was

that stupid she really didn't realize. And I remember listening to her, you could see the word

homophobia stamped over her forehead. She did not understand. She said, why are you picking on him?
