lawmakers demanded she stepped down.

I welcome Joseph Sternberg, a member of the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal.

He's in London, he writes political economics.

And his column does this in the favor of reminding us

that the violence that we saw in Butler, Pennsylvania,

leading to questions about the Secret Services capabilities.

That violence didn't start in America.

That violence started in our European heritage.

And Joe takes us to the most recent incidents and then goes

global with something that happened in Japan and talks about violence being part of

the political conversation in so many different countries.

There was World War II, but we're talking about political violence directed at particular politicians.
