We are at the open workouts for Vassily Lomachenko against Luke Campbell in a

mildly sweltering your call. The Mercury's not risen too far just yet, but that will change because they just let the public in and they are coming in in their droves at the moment.

This is a fight that people have been talking about for a long time before it was even announced really.

It was a bit of a bombshell, I think it's fair to say, when the WBC threw that curveball in and decided that Luke Campbell their mandatory

challenger that they would like him to face Vassily Lomuchenko a champion with

two of the other governing bodies it's not something you see a lot and it's a big challenge

that Campbell's had to embrace. Yeah there's two ways of looking at it I mean what

first thing oh be nice to see Luke fight someone not as special for the title because I

think he's a world-class

fight that is capable of becoming a world champion.

Just not sure he manages that against someone as special as Lamachenko and then

so that brings you one to the other side of it he's thinking you know you know he gets the challenge you know the number one

power for power in the world and you know ultimately you want to test yourself against the very best to see where you are but you know it'd be nice to

to win the World title first and then maybe you try and unify it against someone like

Lamegenko. Yeah it's an interesting one in it but I spoke to Campbell about
