Summary

The Warriors topped the Spurs again behind 32 points from Kevin Durant and 31 from Klay Thompson. The Spurs started Rudy Gay over Kyle Anderson but it didn't matter, as Gay's scoring couldn't help LaMarcus Aldridge (34 points, 12 boards) push San Antonio over the top. The Warriors role players have been turning up the heat, with Andre Iguodala playing like a man reborn in the past two games, and Kevon Looney holding it down on the defensive end. David West, Quinn Cook, Shaun Livingston and JaVale McGee all deserve props. Around the NBA, the Sixers dropped Game 2 to the Heat in Philly, and Joel Embiid is "******g tired of being babied." Tonight it's Wiz-Drakes, Bucks-C's and Pels-Blazers, all Game 2s. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

0:56.9

Clay Thompson. Everybody in the town jersey played well and we're going to get into all of it.

It's my favorite time of the year. It's the playoffs. The first round, you know, a lot of teams

1:42.7

still have hope. The Spurs hope is dwindling after losing

1:46.6

the first two games. But all the Warriors did was hold serve. They'll have to take one. Well,

1:52.3

they don't have to take one in San Antonio, but hopefully this is a series that doesn't go seven

games. It seems like the Warriors have the game plan.

2:01.8

Even with Rudy Gay in the starting lineup,

2:04.4

the Spurs were not able to muster enough scoring to hang with the Warriors,

2:09.3

especially from the three-point line.

2:11.4
