And welcome to another episode of the Lockdown Bengals podcast.

It was a big newsday today.

And we also interviewed Auden Tate, the Bengals' leading receiver from week three.

Joe and I were together for this one. You'll hear that in segment three. Before then, we'll update you on all of the big news topics. Some of them sad, some of them not so sad, some of them

a little bit scary. Five Bengals' defensive linemen, including four defensive ends, did not

practice today.

And the defensive ends are the more worrisome part of this bunch.

Carlos Dunlatt, Sam Hubbard, Carl Lawson, Kerry Wynn, all did not practice.

That leaves Andrew Brown, and he's a three-tech in an edge body.

There's nobody left to play defensive end for the Bengals this week unless one

or more of these guys is ready to go. And judging from Zach Taylor's comments after the game

when he said there were no major injuries, and the fact that they haven't signed anybody in this

position and they have signed some players to play cornerback after losing Darius Phillips

for the season or for at least eight weeks.

Leads us to believe that at least some of these guys will be ready to go this week.

Yeah, and even with an extra day off because of the game being on Monday night, it's still a bit concerning that they're not out there on day one.
