And welcome to another episode of the Locked on Bengals podcast.

The Bengals made a 53-man roster move today.

And looking at the analytics, the Bengals don't look like a very good football

team and by analytics I mean pro football focus and football outsiders. We'll dive into both of those

metrics in just a minute. We're also going to take some listener questions this week. You guys sent

us a bunch of questions asking specifically about things we saw in film, so we'll get to

that in the later segments of the show. The Cincinnati Bengals today promoted Greg Mabin, the

cornerback we talked about yesterday, to the practice squad and in turn, waived guard Keaton Sutherland.

This is an indicator that Michael Jordan is ready to get back onto the active 45-man roster, and that's going to continue to be a competition, it sounds like, between Billy Price

and Michael Jordan for left guard.

Billy Price acquitted himself quite well, I would say, in his first start of the season

against the Buffalo Bills.

Joe, you watched Billy Price in detail.

What did you see?

I saw a strong, tough veteran blocker at this point.

It's surprisingly to say that because really he hasn't even started a full season with the injuries of last year.

But I think in direct comparison to Michael Jordan, who is a fourth round rookie at left guard, I thought it instantly gave them a little bit of a boost.

They could do some different things. I think we saw the run game expand just a little bit more.
