Surprise, surprise, surprise.

The lockdown is going to be extended for at least another three weeks.

Is there anyone else that is surprised by this?

Because I'm certainly not.

The dweaves that seem to represent the mainstream media these days are all shocked and stunned.

Apparently, how very odd. We will be reaching out to you today to discover how you're feeling, how you're coping,

and how you are planning to get through the next month or so without being able to do very much of anything.

Apparently, people are worried because it's a bank holiday weekend and you won't be able to go outside

and you won't be able to go anywhere and you won't be able to go anywhere and you won't be able to go on holiday. But heaven's sake, what's the problem?

I know that some of you might be in difficult situations.

I know that some of you might be suffering from one kind of ill or another.

And I know that some of you might be feeling a little bit miserable.

But here we are where we are.

And basically we're going to be here for a while. So I think we might as well get rid of any lingering doubts that suddenly we're all going to be

taking holidays in Tasmania anytime soon, or driving off to Cornwall anytime soon, or heading

to the beach anytime soon.

Also this morning, I'm going to be asking a few questions of the government.

For starters, wise Chancellor Rishi Sunak handing out 750 million

to charities during this crisis when so many small businesses are struggling to stay afloat

and are falling between the cracks of the rescue packages? I've got no problem at all with small
