What a day, ladies and gentlemen. There's plenty of news going on. The United Nations appears to have a breakout of common sense.

They've got a new bloke running the international panel on climate change. You know, that's the organisation that all those eco-nutters keep quoting from.

The ones who have never actually got anything right in the

entire history of the IPCC. These were the same people who back in the 80s said that Canary

Revolve would be underwater by the year 2000. Well, it still isn't, I'm afraid. It's got that wrong,

and it's now 2023 for those of you who are still counting. But they appear to have a new Scottish

professor at the helm who says basically all of this climate catastrophization that we keep hearing about,

that the earth is burning up, that the world is on fire, that, you know, we're all going to

die in a horrible fireball. He actually says, do you know what? That's not really any good,

because people actually turn off, they stop listening, they stop caring, and at the end of the day, they won't do anything about climate change.

So it's counterproductive as well. So well done to just stop oil.

Not only have you completely failed in your mission to frighten the bejesus out of the British public,

you've also now encouraged Rishi Sunak to head off to the North Sea and do a bit more exploration for oil and gas.

So you haven't actually not just stopped oil, you've actually encouraged further use of it.

Tremendous, well played. Also this Scottish professor says basically if it does rise in temperature by 1.5 degrees,

this planet will not actually burn up and explode. He actually says it's not that bad. So there we are.

The United Nations has finally picked up on it. Tony Blair is finally picked up on it. Rishi

Sunak is beginning to pick up on it. So could we be having the dawn of a new era of common sense?

You know, this is the home of common sense. So naturally, I would be encouraging people to be as

sensible as possible. Also, in another outbreak of common sense, it naturally I would be encouraging people to be as sensible as possible.
