Rishi Sunak says he wants to be the motorist friend,

and he showed how much he wanted to be the motorist friend

by getting into Margaret Thatcher's Jaguar apparently yesterday,

just to prove he knows a lot about cars,

although it would be unfair not to point out the fact that he might remember

when he was filling up a car once with petrol,

he borrowed somebody else's to make it look as though actually he was a man of the people.

He was putting some petrol into a very small car and then paying for it.

Interesting times.
