Summary
Over the summer months, we at Movers & Shakers HQ ran a competition: the local group who acquired the most signatures towards the Parky Charter petition would get their own special episode. And here it is, with the superstars from the Bexhill and Battle area, who acquired a whopping 573 signatures! Three of them joined the Movers & Shakers in the pub, and we also speak to the TikTok poet whose viral video spurred the campaign on. But most importantly, this episode contains important instructions on what you β yes: you! β need to do next. Write to your MP, share your experience, and urge Britain's politicians to give this debate proper consideration.

| 1:08.8 | A lot to fit in, so without further ado, I'm Marmuddil. Who else is here? Rory Kettlin Jones. Nicholas Mostyn. Gillian Lacey Solomon, nearly here. Gillian's been rather off, so she may or may not contribute. Paul is busy filming, which we hope will be his award-winning comedy about love and Parkinson's, and talking about award-winning, who went to the British Podcasts Award ceremony? I did. At the O2, it was on the same evening as Lady Gaga, but it was |
| 1:34.4 | far more exciting. And I went along to represent the team. We were up for an award on impact in |
| 1:41.3 | podcasting. And we genuinely didn't know whether we'd run or not. There's gold, |
| 1:46.0 | silver and bronze awards. We were on a short list of six. So I stood there actually filming it and |
| 1:51.7 | they said the bronze award. We didn't get that. Silver award. We didn't get that. Then they said |
| 1:57.3 | the gold award and we got it. You weren't given a tip off beforehand. |
| 2:02.9 | You genuinely didn't know. |
| 2:04.1 | I genuinely didn't know and I actually nearly fell over. |
