Sounds like easy cash, right?

Well, as soon as they do that, they become a money mule and it's actually a crime.

The affected young person could get their bank account shut down,

struggle to get a student loan, a phone contract or even land a job in the future.

And the worst part, that money is often linked to major crimes like drug trafficking and fraud.

Young people, especially those with special educational needs and disabilities, can be particularly vulnerable.

This is exactly why the Don't Be Fooled campaign has developed free lesson plans, posters and activities for teachers to use to raise awareness of the dangers of becoming a money mule with special resources for send educators.

As teachers, it's so important we educate our pupils about financial literacy to help keep them safe and resources like this make it easy to do so.
