Hello, you're listening to me Liz Earl, with an introduction to wellness with Liz Earl, the very first episode of my soon to be regular insights into all things well-being.

And I've actually been wanting to do this for quite a long time.

I really enjoy the personal connection

of being able to talk one-to-one,

to share knowledge and well-being wisdom, and to get to know what makes people tick,

whether that's you the listener or the people I'll be interviewing and chatting to

on the episodes to come. I love being a communicator. In fact, you know, when people ask what I do, instead of talking about

founding a beauty company or designing jewellery, hosting TV shows or writing 35 books,

I'll often say that I'm in communications as I love being able to talk or

write about the things that I think are worthwhile and important. After all, having conversations is as old as time.

And this new-fangled podcasting lark is just giving the spoken word a more modern edge,

and it allows me to broadcast to you whenever you want to listen, wherever in the world you happen to be.

And I've loved tuning into podcasts and what I especially like is being able to get a good

insight into something without staring down at a screen. So hopefully you're

listening to this right now as you watch the world around you. Maybe you're in a car, you're

on a train journey, a walk in the park, you could be cooking supper in the kitchen,

soaking in the bath or maybe just cozily tucked up in bed for the night.

So wherever you are, my hope is that over time I can share some interesting insights.
