My guest today is part of an increasingly scarce breed of people, the consistently working screenwriter.

Liz Hannah is most known for writing the post,

the great film starring Merrill Streep and Tom Hankson directed by Stephen Spielberg.

She was in the writer's room on Mind Hunter season two,

like one of my two favorite television shows of the last long number of years

and I have to understand what it was like working with David Fincher and on that show.

Can't wait to hear some things about that.

She has a movie she wrote that is going to go into production this coming year,

starring Kate Winslet and being directed by Alan Curis.

She is also an executive producer on another TV show

and has created a show that is going to come out so she's

constantly working but I know from reading about you Liz and what I've picked up on

Twitter that this road hasn't always been easy and that's really one of the things I'm always fascinated by because I

know the ways in which I dealt with rejection and failure and trying to keep this dream alive and I know that

you did so I thought a useful way to start in case

people haven't read about you or seeing you interviewed is could just talk about

your in a sort of global or general way your path here like how did you even get

grabbed by reading writing and thinking about film and TV in the first place?
