Here's Debbie Melman. Everyone knows what NPR sounds like, but what does NPR look like?

In an era when a lot of people under 30 don't even own radios, this isn't an academic question.

If NPR hopes to stay relevant, it has to have a strong presence on tablets and phones.

It's got to have a look and a feel. Figuring this out is Liz Danseko.

NPR hired her earlier this year as its first ever creative director.

Liz Dansego is also the chair and co-founder of the

graduate program and interaction design here at the School of Visual Arts in

New York City. In other words, Liz Danzago is a polymath and she's here to talk about her many
