Living the Resurrection Life: John 20: Part 2:  Daily Devotional, Daily Bible Study In this episode, Rachael Groll talks about the fear and doubt the disciples felt after the resurrection and how Jesus met them right in the middle of it. She shows how Jesus stepped into their locked room with peace, purpose, and the power of the Holy Spirit, and how He still does the same for us today. Rachael also explores Thomas’s story, reminding listeners that doubt isn’t something Jesus avoids or condemns. Instead, He meets us where we are and gives us what we need to believe. This conversation invites you to encounter the risen Jesus for yourself and step into a life strengthened and guided by the Holy Spirit. ☆Pick up a copy of my latest book:  Knowing God’s Voice  ☆Go Deeper and Learn to Hear God’s Voice: Knowing Jesus Course ☆Get Ad-Free Episodes, Bonus Content, and more here:  patreon.com/HearingJesus ☆To Learn More About Sponsoring a Child, check out Compassion International here:➤  Sponsor a Child ☆Go on a trip with Rachael: Bible Study Live ☆Have a question for Rachael? The peace Jesus offers is complete restoration and shalom. Doubt is a natural human response, exemplified by Thomas. Jesus meets skepticism with tangible evidence. The commissioning of the disciples signifies their new mission. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to carry out God's mission. Resurrection life is about participating in Christ's life. Belief in Jesus transforms fear and doubt into hope. God knows our needs and meets us in our doubts. The purpose of John's Gospel is to help us believe.  Chapters 00:00 Encountering Jesus in Fear 03:03 The Commissioning of the Disciples 06:05 Thomas and the Nature of Doubt 09:12 The Transformative Power of Belief 12:01 Jesus Meets Us in Our Doubts 14:46 The Purpose of John's Gospel 18:11 Living the Resurrection Life Bible, Bible Study, Devotions, Devotional, Daily Devotional, Prayer, Jesus, God, Holy Spirit, Spiritual Growth, hearing God’s voice, Hearing God, Hearing Jesus, Praying, Pray, God’s Word, Scriptures Hearing Jesus, Knowing God's Voice, Female Prophets, Bible Study, Spiritual Growth, Christian Podcast, Faith Journey, Obedience, God's Communication, Personal Reflections, prophecy, faith, surrender, spiritual gifts, women's ministry, Christian podcast Learn more about your ad choices.
