Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Now that we have received the mercy of God by his death and resurrection and by the divine mercy indulgence, we celebrated yesterday,

there is still one more step.

We must be merciful to others.

St. Faustinner writes,

God's floodgates have been open for us,

let us want to take advantage of them

before the day of God's justice arrives.

And that will be a dreadful day.

And then Jesus said to Faustina,

if a soul does not exercise mercy somehow or other, it will not obtain my mercy on the day of judgment.

Oh, if only souls knew how to gather eternal treasure for themselves.

They would not be judged, for they would forestall my judgment with their mercy.

So let us begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Our first and the consequences of those sins.

Therefore, it seems forgiveness is the most important element of mercy. Furthermore, if we want the mercy and the forgiveness of God,

then we must forgive others.

Jesus teaches us so in the Our Father,

when he taught us to pray,
