Summary

There is a difference between trying to live life by our own idea of morality and letting grace discipline and train us in how to live moral lives. Some things we simply cannot achieve without depending on God. It is ironic that all of creation—except for mankind—depends on Him. God’s grace enables us to do things we cannot do on our own; it changes us from the inside, gives us the right attitude, and teaches us to do everything motivated by love. Dependence on God, no matter how we may feel at the moment, elevates us to the divine level where He can lead us. Refusing to let our emotions control us gives us victory over the enemy when he throws adversity at us. We are truly pleasing to God when we turn over all of ourselves to Him, yield to Him, and allow Him work through us to reach others.

0:29.1	living life on a divine plane and we've been talking about the difference between a person that may not be born again,
0:40.4	may not have Jesus as Lord of his life, but he believes in living a good moral life
0:47.0	versus a person who's born again and being trained by grace and disciplined by grace.
0:55.3	And so how, there's a whole other level of living that Grace will bring you to, it's a divine level that Grace brings you to,
1:05.0	versus any great attempts for you to achieve morality in your life.
1:13.7	And so I'm not against morality, of course.
1:16.2	I mean, the grace of God is not throwing morality out,
1:20.2	but there's something about having the right attitude along with the right morals
1:25.2	that can only come by the grace of God and what we're going to show you today is that there are things
1:31.6	that we're trying to achieve in life and I'm talking about
1:35.8	as Christians that can't be achieved without depending on God. It just is you
1:42.0	just got to come to a point in your life to recognize there are certain things
1:46.1	in life you don't have the ability to do by yourself. And that's why we have God and that's why it's so important to develop
1:56.4	a relationship with God as a believer and to begin to walk with him. And so I want to just kind of lay a foundation here before we get
2:04.8	to 1st Corinthians 13. The purpose of grace is to produce in the believer a life on a
2:12.4	divine plane. The purpose of grace is to produce in the
2:19.2	believer's life. A purpose of grace is to produce in the believer a life on a divine plane and that's where God's taking you. He's taking you to a divine plane.
