of the message entitled, Living in the Last Days. Let's pray. Father, we come before you. And

when we have announcements like we have with what's going on in our culture, it's clear. We're

living in the last days. And Lord, tonight, I pray that as we look at this message, we're going to

focus on how to live in the last days. So equip us, prepare us.

And if we're cast down, if we're gloom and doom, the world's coming to an end kind

of mentality, may we walk away filled with hope and encouragement from your word.

So living in the last days, and as I

prayed a moment ago, this is not primarily a eschatological message, although we're going to start

out just talking about a couple of things to define what the last days means. So the first question

I have is, when did the last days begin? So you see the QR code up. So go ahead and if you want to take a second and get the notes. Because tonight there's a ton of definitions that we're going to look at that are necessary. We can't skim over them. So you're probably going to want a copy of the notes. So when did the last days begin? Look at what it says in Hebrews,, verse 1. It says, God who at various times and in various ways spoke in times past to the

fathers by the prophets has in these last days spoken to us by his son. So a couple of fast facts

about the last days. So when we talk about the last days, it's the time period that exists between

Jesus' first coming and his second coming. That's the last days. When Paul said we're living in the

last days, the last day started in his time, and so he could confidently say the last days,

but we're also definitely living in the last days. And when I say the last days,

I mean the last days of the last days, right? So the last days refers to a broader period

marking the final phase of God's dealings with humanity before the culmination of history,

associated with the current church age or dispensation, the time leading up to the end times.

Now, the end times is a more specific term, referring to the final events surrounding the return of Christ,

including the rapture of the church, the seven-year tribulation, the second coming of Christ,
