you to stand, if you would, and turn in your Bibles to Romans chapter 14, and we're in part

three of a message I shared with you from the get-go that I didn't want to really bring it.

Because I have to be honest with you, when you read what you're about to read, you're going to be

challenged with thoughts like, man, if I were Paul, I wouldn't have said that.

Or, well, that might be okay for that guy, but not for me.

There is a level of, and I love this about our God.

God doesn't come down to where you and I are at and leave us in that condition.

Our God comes down to where we're at, and he lays hold of us, and he picks us up, and he puts us

on a new level, a new plane, a new shelf, until the next growth spurt comes in our Christian

life. Okay? So Paul now is communicating to the believers in Rome proper, thus it's the book of Romans,

and he's talking and teaching pure reality as a believer.

And as I shared last time together, and boy did I get in trouble with some of you,

where I mentioned things that Paul is talking about,

and it brought up in us emotions that we don't agree with, where, Pastor Jack, I think you're being

too nice in this area, or too strict in that area. Well, the truth is, I hit the

nail apparently right on the head. Because if you get in trouble for being too loose on one side or

too hard on the other side, then the middle is probably a dead center hit. Paul the apostle is

speaking to the believers on how to be mature and how to deal with those in the family of God, mind you,

that are maybe not yet mature.

What do we do with immature Christians?

Hang them. Do we behead them?

Stown them?
