The last time we studied in the book of Jude together, we found that we are living in the midst of a terribly ungodly world.

That's the Lord's word, ungodly.

He uses it first in verse number four in the little book of Jude, and then he uses it four times in verse 15.

Ungodly, ungodly, ungodly, ungodly, ungodly.

He will use it again in verse 18, ungodly.

What does it mean to be ungodly?

It literally means to give no regard to God.

We like to think of everyone else's sin as ungodly

or people who are not like us as ungodly.

But in fact, the word ungodly literally means who are not like us as ungodly but in fact the word ungodly literally means to

live your life every day giving no regard to god which means it's possible for you to even be a child

of god and live ungodly i want to ask you a question not do you simply know god but are you living a

godly life you see the lord but are you living a godly life? You see, the Lord has made

it so that godly people can live in an ungodly world. When you read through the book of Jude,

there's lots of ungodliness. You've got unbelieving Israel, you've got fallen angels, you've got

Sodom and Gamara, the devil himself, Kane, Balaam, Cora, the world of

Enoch's Day, the world of our day.
