I want you to think about the courage that it took for some of these people that we read about in the Bible to do the things that they did.

How much courage did it take for Esther to go into that palace?

How much courage did it take for Ruth not to run back to her idol-worshipping family

but to stay with her poverty-stricken mother-in-law after her husband and her father-in-law

and her brother-in-law had died?

How easy is it to go do the easy thing instead of doing the hard thing?

How easy would it have been for Moses to have stayed in the palace instead of trying to

help his brethren?

How easy would it have been for Paul to have had a little secret relationship with Jesus?

Well, you know, I just believe religion is a private thing.

Well, you just try to find that in the Bible.
