In today's meditation, we'll contemplate our longing for healing and find acceptance in the healing that is already ours, as we live by the present Spirit of God.

Sin is a personal, moral, social, and relational problem.

It is an action taken that is contrary to the will of God.

It is a personal and social condition that affects how we think, how we feel, how we act,

And not only our sin, but the effects on us from the sins of others.

I suffered abuse as a child and became acquainted with the effects of sin at a young age, too young.

But rather than centering on the hope and glory that was to be mine in Christ,

I allowed what happened to me to define me. I let shame shroud me. I believe the lie that I was beyond the tender, loving, and healing

care of Christ. Have you ever longed to have your past forgotten? To recover from secret pain?

To live a life healed and in step with the spirit of God.

Well, you're in the right place at the right time.

This meditation from Galatians chapter 5 is a reflection on that desire, a longing for

So to begin, whether at morning light or evening shadows, allow the next 15 minutes to be a sanctuary,

then your eyes begin to close, and just settle deeper into wherever you are start to center on this
