I was thinking even back to I had in my notes tonight. We did the same thing. God spoke to us to get out of debt and we sold a car and bought a car for cash. The only car we could afford was a 1973 Ford station wagon

with 130,000 miles on it and we paid $750 for it. But we love that car. I mean we really did because we didn't know a dime,

we prayed over it, we ignored it with oil, about a quarter a week, and,

but it was a good car, really was. and uh...

luke chapter sixteen And we're going to talk tonight about living by faith, and every one of us live by faith,

whether you play on the PGA tour tour as Mike was saying or whether you're a doctor or whether you're a secretary or whether you're a housewife or you know whether you own your own business every one of us as Christians live by faith. And that's what giving

is all about. God uses giving. Now we've talked for a few weeks about God uses giving

to test our hearts. But I want you to understand this. God also uses giving to

build our faith. It's a practical way that God uses giving. Givers are people of faith. I have never known a giver not to be a man or woman

of faith. And I'm telling you this is something that God uses. And I want you to look at this

scripture, Luke chapter 16, look at verse 11.

Therefore, if you've not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon,

who will commit to your trust the true riches?

And most of us know the description, we're familiar with it.

God basically, mammon means money or wealth.

If you haven't been faithful in just money, handling your money, who's going to entrust you with true riches and I want to tell
