Liverpool were desperate for a win, despite what anyone may have said.

I did suggest last week that United was a must win

and I've got the impression not everyone soon to agree with that.

They certainly do now, don't they?

So obviously going a goal behind is never ideal,

but the response is emphatic.

And, you know, it was a dominant performance with lots of goals

and a lot of good performances the only caveat of course is that I didn't look like Frankfurt were up to

too much and so there's going to be tougher challenges I had I'm sure than than what they put up

but obviously it was the best result and a great performance.
