It kind of was going well at the start without them really playing well.

It's now very much gone the opposite way in terms of the results,

the performances have not necessarily improved either.

Well, they definitely haven't improved, Matt.

That's for certain of anything.

They seem to be getting worse, which is a course for concern.

But there's a lot to digest at the moment, isn't there?

And it's difficult to know where to start.

But what I would say is right at the start of the season,

Liverpool spent an awful lot of money on quite a lot of players.

My initial concern about that was that we were possibly changing too much too soon.
