It's considered semi-precious, non-ferrous, malleable,

and is used in hundreds of applications, including electricity, plumbing, and building construction.

so sit tight and we're going to talk about Wilson's disease, the first thing we have to really get out of a way is how does it happen?

Well, we know that foods are going to contribute all of the copper that's consumed by humans.

So it's not that the person's ingesting too much. It's a problem of excreting copper.

You see, Wilson's disease also called Hepatolyticular degeneration, which gives us an idea of which two major organ systems are affected.

Hepato being the liver, lenticular being the brain,

forms from basically a defect in hepatocellular copper transport.
