I'm delighted to be joined by Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell.

John, what's going on?

It's been a quiet few days.

I'm about to go back to London.

I'm not sure whether I'm about to go back to London. I'm not sure whether I'm going back to London to go to Parliament

or to do a citizen's arrest on Morris Johnson.

To be honest, none of us have ever been in this situation before. This is completely

unprecedented. We have a Supreme Court decision which I wasn't expecting actually.

I thought the Supreme Court might be a bit hesitant about the ruling.

The Latin judges all agree with themselves. The language pretty straightforward, but we have a Prime Minister

who effectively had broken the law, ignored the law, ignored all that democratic traditions, forode parliament for his own political end,

denied the right of parliamentarians

to hold the Prime Minister of his government to account.

The situation for me is, I think there's a, the onus now is on the shoulder. The only

now is on the shoulders of Conservative Party members.

They elected him as though they allowed him to become Prime Minister.

I think they need to question now the wisdom of their judgment and allowing that to happen.
