It's another day that ends in Y and Donald Trump's Epstein cover-up.

This week, he's trying to distract the public with two new things.

He's announced today that he is taking over the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C.

Of course, at the end of the week, he is apparently going to be meeting with Vladimir Putin and Alaska of all places.

So the Russian dictator will be on American soil.

Here to talk about all these distractions and the cover-up and so on is Colin Allred.

He's a former congressman.

He's also running for the Senate in Texas, which is going to be a very interesting race,

especially if Ken Paxton gets that Republican nomination could help turn Texas blue. But Colin, great to see you.

You bet. Hey, great, great to have you on. I guess, first of all, we should just jump right into

this thing that Trump announced today that he's taking over the Metropolitan Police Department, the D.C. Police Department.

And, you know, a crime is at, you know, some pretty steep, in the state of a pretty steep decline in D.C. right now.

It's around a 30-year low at this point. It's down, violent crime is

about down 26%. But there's something bigger going on here, obviously. I mean, he's trying to

distract from the Epstein files. And this is the latest thing, but your thoughts on this.

I mean, it's upsetting to me because I was there on January 6th and I saw the Metropolitan Police

respond incredibly bravely with no National Guard support right you know they came in as you

know Jim you remember what happened that day and they held the line, you know, hundreds of officers who were injured that day.

They had, you know, officers who died as a result of the actions that day.
