It's Granny Macduff, ready with a story.

So make yourselves comfy, and I'll begin. Once upon a time, there was a little girl who was loved by all, but most of all by her grandmother, who would have done anything for the child.

For her birthday, the girl's grandmother sewed her a red, hooded cape, made of the most beautiful velvet.

It suited the girl so well that she vowed she would never wear anything else.

And so, from that day on, everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.

One day, the girl's mother told her,

Take this cake and fruit to your grandmother.

She is not well and they will help her get better.

Do not dilly-dally and stay on the path.

When you get there, be sure to check all corners of the house

and before you go into your grandmother's room,

do not forget to say, good morning. I will take good care, Mother, do not worry, Red Riding Hood replied.

The girl's grandmother lived beyond the village, deep in the forest. Just as Red Riding Hood was about

to step into the wood, a wolf came before her.

The little girl was not at all afraid, for she did not know what a wicked creature the wolf was.

Good day, little Red Riding Hood, the wolf said.
