if you haven't watched Tiger King, it's on Netflix and it is fucking wild, like wild wild, it takes place in Winwood, Oklahoma, shout out to my Oklahoma Colp Babes. And the docky series is based largely around this guy named Joe Exotic, which first of all, that's just fantastic. His last name is Shrieb Vogel, but he's changed it a few times through marriage and he goes by Joe Exotic as his stage name and he has for a very long time.

He is such a character. He reminds me, I don't know if any of you have listened to the podcast, Shit Town, but it's a huge recommendation of mine. It's one of the first podcasts that I ever listened to, but something about him reminds me of one of the main characters from that show. It's just, there's so much to digest here.

He has this super illegal, exotic animal farm and there is so much going on. I'm only on episode four, but it's mind-blowingly addictive. I definitely want to do a full episode on this and you'll see why as you watch the show, but there's drugs, potential murder, arson, missing persons, lions.

I have more teeth in my mouth than half of the people on that show put together and it is just a lot. It's the most chaotic series I've ever seen and I literally spit my drink out last night when I was watching it. I was vocally yelling in my living room like fuck, it is so good.

I'll go live on Instagram next week when I've finished the series so I can talk about it in full with you guys, but I am dying to know what you guys think about it.

Anyways, I have some exciting listener stories to share, but first, I just got off the phone with my dad before I started recording. I don't know if this is just a dad thing or if it's just my dad thing, but he calls me and always tells me some shocking story.

I'll be like, oh, you know, blah, blah, blah, my old buddy from up a blah, blah, blah.

Yeah, killed himself last night. I'm like, hey, what? Please don't call and tell me shocking things. I'll be like, oh yeah. I hope you're not thinking of investing in any stocks right now. You know better than that, right?

Oh, I was listening to something on it the other day and they said the dude's going to be if you're investing in stocks right now, you're going to get fucking decapitated. And I was like, okay, I promise you I will not invest in stocks, but I love him so much, but he just calls and tells me the craziest thing. Sometimes. And I'm like, okay, he also has a habit of telling me stories about people that I don't think he's ever talked to me about before.

I remember me and my mom always used to die laughing because he would like come home. He'd be like, you know, Jerry, we were like, no, and he's like, yeah, you guys know Jerry. He's the guy who lives over in blah, blah, blah. Well, anyways, his wife took off last night. Okay, gossip dad. Thank you.

I don't know. I just hope hopefully someone else there relates to this right now, but I want to talk about the first story that was sent in. I read through it. It's absolutely scary and terrifying. And hopefully it makes you think a little bit more before posting ads on Craigslist.

They were at Hey Spencer. My name is blah, blah, blah. And I have a crazy story for you. Hopefully you'll share this on your podcast as a reminder to the listeners to always follow their intuition.

The story takes place when I was around 10 or 11 years old. And I can't quite remember the exact age. My mom was a house cleaner and she would go on to Craigslist and she would post ads to get jobs. She got a message back from a man almost immediately one day. And I wish I could remember his name, but I haven't found anything.

So my mom and this man were messaging back and forth on Craigslist and he wanted to have a walkthrough of his house and show her everything that she would have to do. So he told her to come by the following day and take a look at everything.

I told her I wanted to go with her. So her boyfriend, my mom and myself went there on Saturday. Her boyfriend stayed in the car and my mom and I went inside. This man had a gorgeous house. It was three stories. It had fountains and statues outside and a giant yard. It was like something out of a movie.

I was impressed by the house just from being outside, but once I stepped inside, I became weirded out. There were cameras everywhere. He had random amounts of money sitting on tables and there would be cameras pointing right at it, basically testing you to see if you would take it.

I stayed downstairs with the son while he showed my mom around the house. His son creeped me out. He acted extremely strange. He just showed me random things around his room until his father was done showing my mom around the house.

We all met back up in the living room and he was asking if my mom could come clean on Monday. She said that would work out and he asked if I could come with her.

My mom declined because I had school, but he continued to ask about it as a conversations went along. He was very persistent on me coming with her when she cleaned, but I got extremely bad vibes from this man, his son, and the house, even though it was beautiful.

Once their conversation was over, my mom and I went back to the car where her boyfriend was waiting on us. It's important to note, the man asked my mom if anyone was with us, and she told him her boyfriend was waiting outside for us.
