0:04.0	Last week and a little happier, I told a little story about Gene Wilder, Gilda Radner, and their dog

0:12.3	Looking back at their memoirs and thinking about these two brilliant
0:15.4	actors reminded me of something I wrote way back in 2007. This is what I wrote.
0:22.0	Several months ago I read This is what I wrote.
0:23.0	Several months ago, I read Gilda Radner's Interesting Memoir,
0:27.0	It's Always Something.
0:28.0	And yesterday I finished Gene Wilder's equally interesting memoir,
0:31.0	Kiss Me Like a Stranger.
0:33.0	After the two had been married for a few years,
0:36.0	she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and died.
0:39.0	So reading the two memoirs gives a window into that experience
0:42.0	from both perspectives. One thing that made
0:45.6	this story particularly striking to me is that I remember seeing Gilda Radner and Jean Wilder
0:51.6	together years ago.
0:54.2	It was in a drug store somewhere in New York City.
0:57.2	I can't remember where.
0:58.9	I do remember that Gilda Radner was carrying a little dog.
1:03.0	And that was a little dog named Sparkle.
1:05.3	I know now after reading these memoirs.
