Good morning.

God morning to you and the Rigveda, which is one of the oldest religious texts in the world.

It says there are four levels of speech. The spiritually wise know them all, but three are secret.

Mortals use the fourth. We're using the fourth. But if you listen,

with your right ear, with those eyes closed, and focused on that point between your eyebrows,

or your forehead meets the bridge of your nose, you can hear the first.

While I have you here in this silence, I want you to remember the sound of a door in your

house closing. Remember the sound of your phone ringing.

Remember the sound of your car starting.

Remember the sound of a barking dog.

Remember the sound of laughter from a baby.

Remember the sound of surf at the ocean.

Remember the sound of a loved one's voice.

Yes. While trying to remember while trying to hear,

there was something louder than the memory of the ocean or of that baby or of that dog

of your car starting. It's louder than my voice. Your brain is trained to pay attention to this

voice, to noise, to sound. But there is a sound that doesn't make a noise.

A noiseless sound.

Remember the sound of your mother's voice while you were still in the womb.

What did you hear before you entered the womb?

What could be heard before the big bang?
