Welcome back. So this week we are actually pausing on releasing any regular podcast

episodes because we actually feel that it's far more important to listen to the black

voices that need to be heard most right now. So we are calling in our community to join

us this weekend in listening to these three different podcasts to educate ourselves.

And I want to make the quick note that it's really important to not reach out to these

educators directly that, and this is me speaking to myself and calling in our white community,

for us to truly take the time to learn this content. Many of these educators have free

resources as well as books and workshops that we can engage in to really teach and educate

ourselves. Here's a list of the voices that we are going to be amplifying and that we

are personally going to be listening to this weekend. So we invite you on the journey to join

with us. Number one therapy for black girls, the podcast by Joy Harden Bradford, PhD. The episodes

that we're going to be listening to are talking to your kids about race and the impact of racial trauma.

The second, the Good Ancestor podcast with Layla F. Saad and the episodes we're going to be

listening to are Rachel Cargile, Robin DeAngelo on White Fragility, the conscious kid on parenting

through a critical racial lens, and Michelle Johnson and Carrie Kelly on race and resilience.

And the third podcast is Truth Be Told by At Tanya Talks. The episodes we're going to be listening to

are Healing for Black America and protesting for the Soul of America, the New Civil Rights Movement.
