How are you feeling about looking ahead at a new year?

Step by step. Just the light that we have in front of us is all that I need.

Oh, that's good. Well, we've got a listener question fresh for the

new year. This is such a nuanced question, but I really love it and I think it'll be really

helpful. So let's listen. As someone who has been a Christian all my life and now in my 20s,

I often find myself struggling with conversations between non-believers, particularly when it comes to deeply meaningful topics.

For instance, I recently spoke with a young mother who is not a Christian about parenting highly sensitive children,

since my faith is central to how I understand life and relationships, leaving out the

faith aspect in that discussion made the exchange feel somewhat hollow and incomplete.

It left me wondering how I might share the heart of what I believe, what I see as God's

wisdom, without necessarily using explicitly faith-based language.
