The Santa Fe County Sheriff has released files from its investigation into the fatal

shooting of Helena Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust, including a video of Alec Baldwin

being interviewed after accidentally killing the cinematographer.

So it's kind of bizarre to watch because there he is at the police station in the interview

room.

He's thereby himself in the beginning and he's on the phone and he seems to be talking

to a babysitter who's with the kids and he's checking in on the family, trying to decide

if they need to come to him before Papa Rotsie gets to the house, etc.

And just talking about, you know, he's on the phone.

I'm the one holding the gun in my hand and everybody was supposed to have taken care of

it.

They always hand me a cold gun.

And then he calls somebody else and said he wanted them to come to the Santa Fe.

Come to Santa Fe is the investigation plays out.

So he's on the phone and then officers and investigators walk in and they start talking

to him and it does need to be noted that he is unaware that she has passed away as he's

being interviewed by police.

Now slowly I turn my car to the best of the day goes up, she hits the ground, she goes

down, he goes down screaming.

He says, Jesus, I'm going.

And I thought that maybe sometimes the wadding can come out if you're close and you get
