On today's episode, I welcome back Lisa, who was on episode 21, which was why we don't report

rape. A quick recap, she was serving in, I think, the Coast Guard. She was attacked in her room

where she was stationed. She couldn't identify her attacker, nor was she allowed to put a lock on her door.

And she was essentially given the cold shoulder by everybody that she went to for help.

She couldn't give herself any sense of security, and it ended her career in the military.

It's a very upsetting episode.

When she reached out, I was thrilled to hear from her.

I was hoping for good news.

It was a little mixed.

She told me about how she had been attacked again.

But we talk about the therapy and treatment she's gone through,

and we find out that we actually have a lot in common in our healing journeys.

We were both pretty excited to talk to each other,

so there's no real introduction here.

We jump right into the conversation.

Lisa's talking about how she never shared her original episode with anybody.

Yeah, so I never sent it to anyone or really told anyone that I did the interview.

And I sent it to one of my buddies in New Hampshire.

He's one of my besties, but I haven't seen him in a long time.

I'm on the other side of the world now.

And he said, I can't function right now. I'm so

angry. And again, I never talked about it. He's like, I'm destroyed by this. And I'm like, well,
