What we do here on the podcast every week is take an album of music and talk about what

makes it great, have the conversation around it that fans do, and cap it all off with a

track-by-track review.

But this week, we're not doing that because we're doing a mailbag episode.

We're taking listener emails and Facebook comments and Reddit messages and Twitter messages

and all of those kinds of things and discussing the things that our listeners have shared

with us.

The reason why Brian's not here at this very second is because I wanted to stop in and update everybody on my health issues.

Regular listeners of the podcast know that a few months ago I had taken some time off from

the podcast in order to focus on my health. I didn't really talk too much about what was going on,

partly because I didn't have a diagnosis at the time. I didn't really talk too much about what was going on, partly because I didn't have a diagnosis at the time. I didn't know at all what was wrong with me, and I was having all

these strange symptoms that made it very tough for me to podcast and just kind of get through

the world in general. I eventually powered through them a little bit

and I continued podcasting even though I still didn't know what was wrong. But as of a few weeks ago,

I finally have a diagnosis and I wanted to share with everybody my story as far as what's been going on.

So back in June, I started experiencing odd symptoms that made me think something was really wrong.

By the way, I wrote this down if it sounds like I'm reading because I am.

And I wanted to make sure that I just got all the details in the right order, in the right way that I wanted to communicate them.
