There's so many things about this woman. Linda Sarsor is here today and I'm so excited on your

behalf that you get to listen to this episode. We talk about her 20 plus year history of getting

into the world of activism and organizing as a resident from Brooklyn with immigrant parents.

Her stories incredible, which you can also read more in depthly in her new memoir. We are not here to be by

standards by standards. If I could talk sorry I used up all my good talking in this interview with her.

She explains the world of organizing in a way that makes sense to someone like me who doesn't

really know from the outside. She also has profound and prolific and promising advice for people

that are interested in getting involved but don't know how interested in how to navigate

difficult conversations, how to help in the Georgia runoff elections. She's just all around a

lovely, lovely human being and I hope you get inspired the way that I did after this conversation.

you give us a little bit of backstory as to how you got where you are today. Your memoir will

have it all in there for people but if you can give us kind of a brief overview that'd be awesome.
