I'm look at Lonnie your host and today my husband Alex is preaching about light.

We're in Matthew chapter 5 verses 14 through 16.

So if you have your Bibles, go ahead and grab them and read along with us.

If not, go ahead and just take a listen.

You are the world's light, a city on a hill glowing in the night for all to see.

Don't hide your light, let it shine for all, let your good deeds glow for all to see so

that they will praise your heavenly Father.

I don't know, we're not starting over, I think people are enjoying this, I can't talk

right now.

Buzz Lightyear, Buzz Lightyear, think about him, how when he comes to Andy's room, he thinks

his laser works and Andy, you know, pretends that it works, but it's Woody that's trying

to get him to understand that it's a little light bulb that blinks.

You are a toy, trying to get that through Buzz's thick plastic head, but he is determined

to believe that it's a real laser that can cut and penetrate and do some real damage

to his enemies and as Christians I think we go around blinking our little light around

that people because we don't know what it means to be the light of the world.

You have to get this because Jesus calls himself the light of the world and then he says

to the apostles, you are the light of the world.

If we want to be a part of that group, a part of his disciples, a part of his followers,

we really got to get this down.
