Pleasure as always.

Yeah. So today we're going to be looking at what Isaiah saw in

his glorious vision of Isaiah six. Yeah and we we have in Isaiah six the idea that he sees the glory of God or something, you know, in the temple, but it's actually in the Gospel of John that the clue as to what that looked like is and take us through that and I was

surprised to find that in your book Holy as his name but I shouldn't have been because it was in the notes

of the Ignatious Catholic study Bible for years on my shelf. So if we were to

title this episode what did Isaiah see I think we could subtitle it that is

lift high the cross references because that's what

we'll find in the Gospel of John especially chapter 12.

So if you have a Bible, turn with me first of all, to Isaiah 6, and then keep your finger in John

Chapter 12. Isaiah 6 is obviously famous because this is the most spectacular and compressed revelation of God's

holiness and it's in the vision reported by the prophet Isaiah in his call narrative that we find, especially in the opening

verses.

Let me read to you the first three verses.

In the year that can you Zia died, I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up.

And his train filled the temple.

Above him stood the seraphim, each had six wings, with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one
