It's great to be with you guys this morning back in the series, The Good Life.

And I want to start with a confession this past last weekend.

We were going on Life Group retreat.

And I just got Weston up out of school, picked them up from school, and stopped by a gas station, went inside.

And I overhear this conversation in the gas station.

Someone is purchasing a lottery ticket, and I hear that it is a record jackpot, unprecedented, $2 billion.

Anybody buy a ticket?

I mean, I appreciate the courage. Anybody buy a ticket?

I mean, I appreciate the courage.

Some of you were like, yes, I bought one.

I did.

I got one.

Listen, not my, you know, not something I have done probably three times in my life. but I'm thinking $2 billion, you know, like, I don't know how God wants to bless me, you know, maybe that's, you know,

and so, you know, I get the ticket and I go and I immediately shine a spotlight on it, text the

life group, a picture of it, we were headed to someone's lake house, and so I text him a picture of it, text the life group a picture of it.

We were headed to someone's lakehouse.

And so I text them a picture of the lottery ticket.

I say, hey, next year we're going to be going to my lakehouse.

And so we get out there to the retreat.

And we're sitting around the table, and the topic comes up, the powerball, the lottery, jackpot,
