Just some things I've learned about open doors.

One thing, opposition is normative. Opposition is normative. Oppression is noteworthy.

You and I have got to learn how to discern the difference between regular opposition.

We're going to have that.

It's normal in the believing life.

Why?

Because we are living in a place that is not our home.

We are not of this world.

Our citizenship is in heaven.

Once we are born again in Christ, we are transferred into the kingdom of life, but we are still living surrounded by darkness.

Of course, we're going to have opposition.

I mean, we've got to get thicker skin to opposition.

That doesn't mean we're not in the will of God.

Now, oppression.

We can be smack in the middle of the will of God,

but, man, we're not just in opposition.

We are under oppression.

That's a different thing.

I don't know if you kind of play little games, word games with yourself to remember the difference

between something. But here's what I would do with the words, opposition and oppression.

Opposition, that op is going to be that opposite, that opposite position, opposite position.
