Romans chapter 8.

I don't know about you but I have never been more grateful for the local church.

There's nothing like not being able to go to it

freely like we are right now. I'm sure that a number of churches had regular services

on Sunday, but many of the ones that I knew of our own church

we all did it online and lots of my friends that are pastors and teachers their

services were all online as well. So what a strange

strange moment for us in the church as a people of God. We know that the

church is made up of people and not a brick and mortar but at the same time what a

beautiful thing to be in the local church and I want to say something as I get

started and I'm going to teach out of some portions of Romans chapter 8, but I want to tell you how

thankful I am that if I'm chiming in it all in regard to our current crisis. I'm getting the chance to

chime in after a number of us have heard from our own local churches and pastors and

and leaders and teachers and I don't say that I don't understand

me I don't say that to get approval from anyone I would get as much disapproval

for what I'm about to say as I would approval anyway, not to appease anyone or to please anyone, but because I believe it to my bones and it's very very important to me I just truly believe and

especially at times of tremendous hardship and crisis that we need our local

communities of faith.

I still very strongly believe in the local church.
